I felt that Tokyo side is feeling flustration for me. Because I helps Martin as European side. But it's natural for me. because I'm working for European market basically. One participants in Tokyo side, who was in the USA, felt ir strongly. But he was in the other office, which is in the west coast and are only Japanese. It's totaly different from my current situation. Of course, I help to understand each other between Europe and tokyo side. But basically i help Martin.

The luggage will not come for person imediatly who are waiting neighbor of turn table. Especially, in case of all of family is wating or waiting with the legs on the turn table. Frequent traveler knows that luggage will not come imediatly when he is front of turn table. At least Lufthansa put priority card on the luggage. Therefore, I can get my luggage soon. But BMI is not better.

Do you know there is one word "German is best person to make well-behaved kids and dog" Basically I don't look bad-behaved dog in Germany. I think dog in the Germany is better than kids in Japan. Sometimes, dog looks right and left and looks owner before cross street. And dog waits front of shop when owner is doing shopping.

We had telephone meeting with Tokyo. One participants, who was in the USA, said "Shall we have a break? I'd like to go to bathroom" Bathroom? I couldn't understand first time. And also Miriam thought "he'd like to take shower?" SI never heard to use bathroom as toilet in the Europe area. Because hi speak American English.
And also pronunciation of twenty is not same as Europe and USA. Can I use half pat nine when we suggest meeting time?

U used German wing which is low cost carrier of Lufthansa. But I had to pay additional cost for luggage. Tool is impossible to bring cabin as safety issue. May be, it's not cheap if we have to pay these kind of cost.
Today, I went to Tuebingen by using early morning and night flight. I know today's customer, because he was in Munich as our reference sight, and he moved to Tuebingen university. Therefore, ha had a lot of questions to ask me. For me, it's good to know what he needs. Basically I heard that today's visit is discussion about how to connect his own laser to our product as help him. But actually we did total installation today. So we didn't have lunch.
By the way, it's decreasing if I calculate my European savings as Japanese yen. But I don't care to transfer money between Japanese yen and Euro.

It's Euro 18 only. Of course, it's English and German version which doesn't have Japanese under title. I didn't know which has additional 2nd DVD in the package. At least our division, the desk of optical engineer is too confused. Because we have a lot of products. We have to check to connect every possibility of optical connection. If there are 5 products in port-A, and there are 6 products in port-b, total possibility will be 30. And we need printed out data to compare with current design version day by day. It's difficult to check only on the monitor. Because it's doesn't have enough space!

We are planning to hold to play this game in stead of official dinner when we will have sales meeting in the Europe. So, we checked today in advance. I think it's good idea. And also, I'm fun for this game, because my hobby was radio control car when I was high school student. Especially I played 1/12 car which requests sensitive control.
It's good to buy some items from internet shop in the Netherlands. Dutch is good English speaker as usual. Basically I'm using UK shop. Because German shop can't use English. So it's tough to buy complicated items in these shop. For German, it's better to go to real shop.

Because, we can't confirm that this lens type can fill every specification if it fill 90% within design work. And also, sometimes it fill specification suddenly even it's tough at first time. Sometimes we face these situation which finished design is in patent which is owned by other company.
I think optical design can't look all of design flow. And I think mechanical design and software design can look all of flow. Therefore mechanical and software engineer can recognize how percent they are doing all of design. Sometimes I feel if there was other best optical design solution even we did best.
Do you know many optical engineer have depression? And the ratio of optical engineer is larger than mechanical and other engineer. So we had discussion about it before. We confirmed reason is optical engineer cant look forward during design work flow.
Of course experienced optical engineer can recognize how design works spend time roughly. But it's tough to recover how to recognize it if one engineer left from design work before 30 years old, and back to design work after about 5 years blank.

Fixxed camera observed image which A320 landed to Haｄson river. It's great flight! I heard Japanese government requested to JAL to handle their 747. But any pilot in Jap could not clear standard which is requested by Japan government. Therefore Japan self defense force is taking care. Of course, JAL is taking care licence of pilot as 747.
And I looked information about aviation. Still now, 747 flights to Kagoshima. So, there are lot of passengers in Kagoshima. I took only wide body type L1011, 747 and 777. Because Kagoshima airport is one of hub airport in Kyushu area.

I'm contacting one person who backed from USA. But his knowledge is based only on USA.
At once he asked me about schedule of telephone conference. Then he requested 12th Jan. But it's holiday in Japan. Therefore I asked him if it was holiday in Japan. He said "Is there one day difference between Japan and Europe?"
And he asked me about customer visit schedule, then "Is there any line like Red eye in Europe?". Europe is not too big like USA. There are 4 time difference area in the USA. But there are 3 time difference area in the actual Europe market. We can fly only by maximum 3 hours flight from hamburg. I never heard like Red eye in the Europe.
The size of Europe is not big like USA. But there are a lot of difference culture area. Therefore, Europe market is difficult to handling.

I went to city hall to test new DSLR camera.
I corrected brightness by irfanview software to compare with the picture before I took it.
I have a lot of experience to avoid vibration which is caused by myself, for example O took picture of medal 3rd of Jan with 1 sec or 0.5 sec. And also wide lens is strong for vibration because of short focal length. Therefore, I don't need unti vibration function with this new DSLR camera and wide zoom lens. In my test, I succeed to take good picture above 2/3 which I checked with 20inch monitor in my flat. And also, auto exposure function is improved compare to old DSLR camera.
Actually the lens is cheep one, which is set with this camera is cheep, zoom range start from 35mm and cheep plastic lens mount. The total price camera and lens was Euro 300. It to cheep price. Of course lens mount on the camera is not plastic, is metal. Olympus doesn't cost down in this important mechanism of DSLR even low price range. Of course, unti vibration function is important for telescope lens. But I will not telescope lens with this camera. Because I will use tele lens for to take picture of bike racing. In this case, AF is important. Therefore, it's better to buy other expensive camera which has high speed AF functions. I think that everything can do means anything can do.
I agree for low magnification of finder optics is weak point of this camera. So, I'm using 1.3x magnification changer. For me, it's enough total magnification. I think high magnification is not better for normal camera user. How many times, do you focus by manual? In my experience to check new products, I 'm tired by wide field of view. How about this camera to use in sight seeing?

User manual of E-420 is German version. But I didn't need without check USB cable. Of course our products give international guarantee. Therefore I will be able to support in Japan even I bought it in German. You can't get same guarantee if you buy Canon and Nikon camera. They give international guarantee only for objective lens.
Final one is taken with ISO 1600. I don't mind noise in this picture. I put camera on the wall to avoid vibration. Therefore my camera has a lot of scratch. it's no problem. I'll not sell. And also lens has best condition, because I'm doing lens cleaning.

is tough to set to bike wheel? I don't feel to tough when I set GP4000 and GP4000s. Of course, I use tyre lever to set to wheel as default. My favorite tyre lever is cheaper one which is made by Malni. For me, it's best tyre lever.
I bought new DSLR camera which has normal pentagon prism for finder optics. It's very low price at electric shop front of central station. I don't decide which camera I will give to parents. Some camera magazine said it's too small. But it's best size for my small hands.

is not silent as I expected. I don't how difficult to set Continental trainer tire, but Tacx trainer tire was easily to set. Of course, I used tire lever as default. I use tire lever every time, because my grip is not strong.
Sunnto T3 is better for roller training, but it's not better for actual bike ride on the road. Because it has a lot of buttons, I think maximum 2 button which I can manage on the actual bike ride.
I think cyclingnews is better. Because cyclingtime is terrible. I don't like this site, because of connection speed. This site has a lot of banner for advertisement. Even in Japan, I needed 5 minutes to open this site.

Head quarter of STEVENS bike is in hamburg. Therefore Corratec and Canyon are not familiar for me even they are German bike manufacture. Even Focus I saw it in only races. Stevens is one of popular bike in German although it's not famous in Japan. If you look German bike magazine, they check it as first cycrocross bike.
This morning, Martin showed me one scrap of news paper. It explains about 3 kids tried to go to Africa and tried to marry" I looked only title of this news in Japanese news sight this morning. In Japanese sight, it says that 3 kids hate cold winter in Germany. But German news paper doesn't explain about it. it's interesting.

It was -20 degree in Goettingen. Therefore I'm training with roller trainer in my flat.
I asked colleagues about training in cold condition. Martin said it's dangerous. One doctor said that it's better to breath slowly because it needs time to change temperature in the body when he went to north pole area and looked cross country sky race was training.
First working day in this year （05/01/2009)
I've checked mail in my flat in the holiday. Therefore I could answer to every mail today. I caught phone from Israel, then I asked him how about new years holiday. But he said they don't have holiday, because their new year is September. So, they are Jewish.
Actually sales is decreasing, because a lot of people is saving money and cost. Direct influence will be from next April in our division, because budget will be decrease. So we have to take care to against this direction in the business. One possibility is that some of Japanese colleague will back to Japan to save cost, because the cost of Japanese in Germany is expensive. Therefore it's better to send back some of Japanese if his job is possible to transfer to German stuff. In my case as engineer, the period in the Europe will be long to save cost to back to Japan and send successor to Europe. I think my successor will be last optical liaison in the Europe. Because it's better to take care from Japan if some of optical engineer can speak English. And we have to focus on developing next generation products as engineer.
Should be , it's good direction to limit have diner with visitor who come from Japan with company charge. I eat diner by my money.
