Wolfgang called me as this. But I request him "Please call me Japanese Walter Roll" He said "It's too maniac" There is one person who drive hard at parking space in our office. He is Martin. So, it's normal driving style in our team. Isn't it?
Did you success to transit other flight to Japan? Sky Team is not strong in these situation. Because Sky Team includes Japanese airline, which leave at night from Europe to Japan. Basically European airline leave roughly lunch time from Europe to Japan. Therefore, it's possible to change Japanese airline, if I lost flight to Japan by European airline. But Air France has one possibility, because they has one flight that arrive to Japan in evening.
There is additional information from my parent. My second personality? called them that I lost big money in stock market, and I need money. It's strange.
Now my skill is not good to correct wheel. Because I don't need to correct wheel last 13 years. My wheel has good stability during 13 years without correction even I ride hard.

Japanese books. Because there is campaign that request only first 4000 yen charge and don't charge flight cost. Therefore, I will be able to use space for others when I will go for Japan next time.
Possibly I'd like to buy new custom made sole for Bike shoes. I think Sidas is better for bike than Superfeet. Because Sidas has good support for arch. Making procedure of Superfeet can not make enough support for arch. But support of arch is not real support. I don't like to move my legs in shoes. Therefore arch support is necessary
I would like to research data which custom sole is number one share in professional bike race market. I don't believe advertizement of company themselves. Because they pay money to player. Therefore it's important which good does player use by their own payment. It's better than doping if good has real effect. Because they don't take care any doping risk. The low pressure oxygen tent is good example.
I lost handy in train and catch cold in Japan. (28/09/2008)
My parents got one call from someone, who pretends he is me. He said that he lost his handy, therefore it's impossible to use old Tel number. Of course, my parents asked me, why your voice is strange. His answer was that he catch cold. it's strange.
I was stomachache last night suddenly. But it's OK now. I went to training after watching win of Ross in Japan GP. Today, i used cycrocross. I think it was caused by back pack that I felt hard in my back. And also it's caused by less training, therefore I will do more training.
Today, I used shoes that includes steel sole. It's good. I don't feel soft sole. I prefer it if you feel soft sole for your MTB shoes. I will challenge to make new sole for SIDI shoes by 0.5mm thickness steel plate.
I checked my bike after training. It's unbelievable. Because some screws is not good even less distance. May be cobble road caused it. Therefore, I focus on stability for my bike. Light weight is not important in Europe.
I checked price of Concoll light saddle. I surprised that the price of it is over 10,000 yen now. My saddle that is set in KG281 is about 7,000 yen. Even it, I was surprised. Because first one was about 2,000 yen. So this saddle is best one as stability, light weight and easy setup.

Mavic will launch additional Cosmic carbon that is setup with Power Tap hab. I think it's better because we can get guarantee from mavic.
For me, Kisyrium Elite is one of best selection. Because Hab and rim will be same as upper version that use aluminum spoke. And also Elite will have conventional stainless spoke. For me, aluminum rim is better, because I'd like to hard braking at down hill. Therefore, best selection is that I will buy Kisyrium Elite and light weight rear wheel. For front wheel, Kisyrium Elite is too much.
However, it's real to buy conventional wheel to me now.

martin likes Sudoku. He does it if it's available in magazine or newspaper. He asked me at once "Ken, Do you know Kakuro?" "Kakuro?" "It's one of puzzle. there is total number, and also you have to fill but you can't use same number in the low" "I see, it's called as Kakkuro in Japan" "Do you know it? It's interesting" I know that Sudoku book is sold at kiosk in airport. But I don't look book of Kakuro ever. But I realized that it's sold in Germany. Therefore I went to big book shop front of central station in Hamburg. And I found it at last.

It's special underground train. There was party. It rounds U2 and U3 line.

It's too convenience last world championship. I could go mountain point by underground. So, it's not convenience in Utsunomiya, but it's usual as bike race.
How about is next year? Is it German language area? I think Copenhagen will be good at 3 years future. I will be able to everywhere because the course is totally flat. may be, i will go by my car from hamburg, if i will be in Hamburg still.
i think that Japan is too helpful at transportation. Japanese visitor said why isn't it indication even 5 minutes before, when I picked up them at Heathrow airport. I think it's better, because there is information indicator. Somewhere, there is not any information in Europe.

I go bakery shop every morning during to the office. Now I don't need to order. Because they know what I order every morning. Today, it was prepared already, when I went to shop by bicycle.
I did bike training in this evening. It's good to relax and think about nice idea. But it's tough for my back. May be back pack attacked me. I think that it's good training. Today I kept my key at bike parking in our office. Because I'd like to reduce weight of my bike, and I don't use it out of office. I don't need key at my house, because I keep my bike in my underground room. Someone keep key like me.

I wear bicycle wear to go for office by bicycle, then it's rain? But I went to office by bicycle. Of course, today is not holiday in Germany.
Rain stopped at 5. Therefore I change to bike wear, but I picked up help phone from Finland. I had to take care, and went out from office 6:30. It was light rain at middle to the house. But I wasn't wet. Because mudguard kept me dry.

There will be not other German colleagues in my office. Therefore I have to pick up phone. And also, I will make documentation. Today, I got one question from customer, it's easy to answer, because there is documentation that is possible to answer about it with simple change. It's important to make documentation like this.
I bought these tools when I went back to Japan as company charge. I bough it my self. I don't lent tools to other person as possible. Because the person who borrow tools, don't use it in correct, and don't return it sometimes. Therefore, I lent tools with one limitation "OK I lent it, Back it to my tool box everyday, even you use it one week"
It's same as "The person who borrow money, forget that he borrow money"

I wear company team wear as upper and Campagnolo racer pants in this picture. So pad is good. But I have to use it to fit my body.
I watched SBK(Super bike) race in the afternoon. Does Viaggi ride Ducati this year? Does Suzuki kick out him? I thought that his idea was to get MotoGp sheet in Suzuki this year, therefore he got sheet in Suzuki last year. Does he would like to get sheet in Ducati team next year? But he can get second rider sheet if it's possible, because there is ace rider Storner.
Do you know he can't get sheet in Honda and Yamaha for ever, because two maker kicked out him to avoid his behavior. Especially Honda kicked out him with one comment "Honda don't give sheet him forever"

Can you imagine what is this picture?
This is correction knob for side mirror of the car. Now, 99.99% is electrical in Japan. But I think 50% is not electrical in Germany. But it is reasonable for me. Do you use side mirror correction unit everyday? I correct seat position if reflected image is not good even I adjust mirror yesterday, because seat position or how to sit down is wrong in his case.
So German and European people think if it was necessary or was not necessary for them. This behavior is same as our sales product. hey pay money for one product that has only one good performance, and save money to reduce unnecessary items from configurations.
By the way, I took picture because I changed seat and handle position little bit today.
It's going for office and rainy day training, which I change settings today.

通勤用は人によっては賛否両論、拒否感抜群な自転車かも。通勤用としては、チェンリングのあたりまで覆う泥除けは重要。けっこう、ここまで泥除けがないと、靴がビッチョリと濡れるんですよ。で、いつになるかわからないけど、帰国のときにでも遊びで路面濡れ濡れ練習専用として、スーパーレコードで組んで日本へ送るって手もあるな。もちろん、泥除け付きで。こっちにいるときはやりません。とてもじゃないけど、そんな高い自転車、会社の駐車場には怖くて置いておけなくて通勤でつかえない。
さてさて、昨日の歓送迎会で、会長の挨拶で各事業部ごとに一言言ってるなかで、「○○（うち）は、駐車場でタイヤをキュルキュル鳴らすわ、煽る感じで詰めてくる人はいるわ〜」 実はおいら〜 前に、駐車場に入る際に会長の車だったことがあるんだよねえ。という感じで色々と目を付けられてるので、出世はしないでしょう。
もっとも、きちんと安全確認はしてるんですよ。というか、普段どおりのドイツ人的な運転だと思うんだけど。

I can not find any better word to translate to English or German from Japanese as "いらっしゃいませ〜" I think "hello" or "Welcome". Buelent recognized it when he went to Japan as business trio last June. And his friend, who is working in Tohoku university as post doctor, said same as me.
In dinner, we say "Enjoy" as "召し上がれ" but I can't find correct translated one word for "いただきます" and "ごちそうさま", and also I can't find in English for "行ってきます" and "ただいま"

I was sick off yesterday. I've caught cold since Sunday, and it gives my backaches and sore throat. Therefore I spend full day to read book in my flat. I read first book "The hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy" It's very interesting even I read many times. The sense of joke is quite British style. Actually, construction of hyper space highway is since 50 years ago.
で、昨日はさすがにメールチェックしてなかったので、貯まったメールに朝からバッタバッタと返信。で、その中の一つに「質問に返信ありがとう！ ところで〜」というメールがあって、こんな返信最近したっけ？と思いつつメールをよく見てみると、そのおいらの返信は２月だよ。道理で、最近の記憶にないはずだけど、時間軸が長すぎ。。。。。

There was official dinner last night for visitor from Tokyo. There was talks about The hitchhiker's guide for the galaxy. But Japanese without me didn't know about it. One German colleague teach them about it. But I think it's tough to understand about these suggestion. The earth is broken to construct hyper space high way, and these description is informed before 50 years ago at alpha Alpha Centauri.
I saw movie of this in Japan. But it's tough without explanation about details. So it's same as odyssey 2001. I bought Japanese version when I went to Japan last August. I don't read it until now.

new back pack that I bought it Friday. There is space between back pad and base of back pack. So cooled air will be introduced here and it can keep cool.
There were many items in bicycle floor back pack, messenger back and side back. And also, there were many hydration pack. Can you imagine?

It's first time to show picture of cat which was taken in Hamburg!
I felt that it's cold in the morning when I start to training. Therefore, I prepare for winter. I wash and take coat for Windbreaker, shoes cover, grove and bicycle back pack.
Can you imagine that I've used left side wind breaker in the picture 20 years? But the percentage to wear it is low even I bring it every time to training. Because I can't take off after I warmed up. So I use it as avoid cold in down hill and avoid rain even winter. If temperature is lower than 0 degree, I use right side Windbreaker in the picture. And I take off in the training.
How do you think condition of it? It looks good even I've used it 20 years. By the way, the price of back pack was Euro 69. the price of it in Japan is about Euro 50. I think distributor of it is not bicycle distributor.

I went to Karlstadt sport to buy back pack for bicycle. It's Deuter Race Exp Air. Because I felt hot when I went to office by bicycle. So I need cool type back pack. It has good function to keep low temperature of my back. I will start to go to office by bicycle to improve my performance.
I removed one of tool bottle when I backed to house. Because I put this bottle in back pack now to avoid that it is stolen at office building. Then it's better to put tool without bottle to get more light weight. If I use this bike for training, then I will bring tool bottle from KG281. It takes only 5 seconds.
I think it's better for go to mountain as 1 day. I wouldn't go to mountain by walk. I joined climbing club when I was high school student. I climbed Tsurugi-dake, which is 2998m high and famous as tough root. The main reason that it was tough, was that my back pack was over than 30kg even last day. Basically fresh man brings foods. So their back pack will be light day by day, but my pack don't change day by day.

Dirk came to Hamburg today. As I write about him several times, He can speak Belgian Dutch, French, English and German. And He play in 2nd football league in Belgian. And there was possibility that he play in champion league. I had one question that is better to ask to him. So I asked it, and I heard if he spoke Framish with Belgian colleague. But I couldn't recognize it.
Some Belgian colleague spoke German language if there are only German and Belgian. But Dutch doesn't like this. But Dutch can speak English very well. And their mail is too long in one sentence like British people.

I've got newspaper, which show every result of cyclasics. There are only 6 person whose name start from Y in 100km class. So, it's easy to find my result. Many German colleague checked my result and said "You lost 2 minutes for 3 hour, but your result is good."
Can you imagine that every result is possible to check in the night, and possible to look every result on newspaper next day. The number of participants were 21,000. Did Tokyo Marathon do like this for 30,000 participants?

As I looked around me before start, percentage of aluminum frame was about 95%. And majority was 105. some people uses Ultegra. very few people , include me, uses Dura Ace. So percentage of Campagnolo was few. Some people use shift indicator with 105 and Ultegra. Many people uses Continental tyre.
And 99% people uses W chain rings. It is not same as Belgium
Big difference with Japan was speed at down hill. I couldn't rest my legs, because speed was very high at down hill.

It's my real current performance. There was few training this year. But result is better. because I expected that my record will be 3 hour 30 minutes in the race. My legs was too tough after 60 km.
This number has transponder to record time. I get medal when I returned it.
I took picture before start. There was 22,000 participants. Can you imagine the width at goal. I think it's narrower than many people images.
He is my team colleague. So I wear same team wear. Is it good?

I went to look elite race after my goal. So I could look 3 times in 1 hour.
i bought new bicycle pants to training after look elite class race. So I'd like to do hard training as I did in Japan.

I went to city hall market. Because there was big market for bicycle. I can buy bicycle wear that is useful to training with cheap price.
This is CSC team best that material is wind stopper type. It is better to use winter time. And also around neck is made by warm material. Have you ever seen this kind of good wear? The price is Euro 20.
This is team wear of Lufthansa technik that is big service point in Hamburg. May be they made enough quantities for them. So they are selling it. The price is Euro 10.
This is cyclocross bike which is made by STEVENS bike. I'd like to buy new carbon bike as successor of Look KG281 that is my main bike. They informed German cup cyclocross race in Wedel next October. I will go for look if it's possible.
mavi came as mechanical support. Their main purpose is support for wheel. So one mechanics did maintenance for participants.
There was Junior class race front of Alster lake. I think situation is same as front of Japanese emperors Imperial Palace.
These are indicator for pro team to go to Hotel and go to start point. Why there are many indicator in east area of hamburg? Many team will come from west side, because there is German tour now.

The meeting with visitor (05/09/2008)
started from 8:15. Because visitor will go other customer at 10:00. And Martin knows that I come to office at 7:30 as usual.
basically I go to office 7:30 in the morning as usual, and left office between 6:00 and 7:00. It's better to change life style to shift to morning. Because there is time difference from Japan. We have to contact them to check status about shipment and many issues.
I wake up 6:00. If there is urgent issue, I check mail when I prepare to go to office. So I can use enough time to me after lunch, because I can finish time for Japan before lunch. I can not understand why other Japanese come to office after 9:00? I didn't like to pick up phone from Europe before left from office. So I changed my life style. Of course it's better to avoid traffic jam.

From organizer, there is mail "The number of participants are 22,000 this year. We expect there will be complicated after Friday evening, because a lot of visitor from out of Hamburg will come. Please come to registration Wednesday or Thursday if you live in neighbor of Hamburg and if you'd like to avoid take a time. Please bring your ID card and printed mail that organizer send it in advance" Therefore, I went for registration this evening.
At first, I did official registration in first booth. I showed my passport and got nameplate which include transponder and handbook. Next, I went to other booth. I got souvenir here.
I did light cycling in the evening. I found that my new bike shoes has good function. I think it's helpful for running in the cloud. Can you imagine about this function? You can find it in this picture.
I looked very interesting car today. It was Subaru Alsione SVX. This is 2nd times to look it in my life. Even Audi R8, I saw it twice already.

I got business card of customer. I checked actual place in google where I went yesterday. It's neighbor of Donau river. We arrived Budapest airport 9:00. Sales rep picked up us and went to customer site. We show, explained our new products to customer until PM 2:00. After then, we did business lunch and also we did business talk after lunch until deadline to return to airport. We arrived hamburg airport at PM 8:00.
At once, our president said "I did job actually 2 hour when I went to business trip. it means that you work only 10 days if you went total 55 days to business trip". We van not do these behavior like him. We are not executive, so we have to many issue when we go to business trip for example set up and trouble shooting. Of course sometimes there is good situation I could solve trouble with short time. In this case, we did effort to collect information from customer in advance.

I've visited after came to Germany: Germany, Poland, Denmark, Belgium, Spain, Netherlands, UK, Norway, France, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland and Hungary.
I went before I come to Hamburg to UK, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, USA and Canada.
The picture is only this in Hungary. We didn't have any time to look around in the Budapest. We concentrate to explain new product to customer to offer evaluate it.
Our new objective was checked at security area in Hamburg airport. I hand carried it because we didn't bring tools and also didn't have carry cart today. So our objective looks cannonball. Of course explained about it by German. I know technical German word because I had to read German patent to check patent which is applied by our strong German competitors,
I checked indication of passport control in Hamburg airport when we back to Hamburg. It is "EU, EWR, CH" CH means Switzerland as we said German language area as DACH "Deutschland, Austria CH as Confederation Helvetica for Switzerland" What does mean EWR?

We, Martin and I will go to Budapest tomorrow as business trip. Then
K: Hungary doesn't change to Euro, is it? And there is Schengen area?
M: May be, they doesn't change to Euro, but they are Schengen, because they are Euro country.
K: But, UK is not Schengen even Euro country.
M: Exactly, because UK is special. They will change everything as last country.
After then, we talked about indication in passport control. In the continental country, it is "EU includes France" for example in France, But UK uses "EU and UK". So British people think EU and UK are not same, even the UK was one of first member of EU. Can you imagine? I couldn't recognize it when I went to the UK, because I searched "All passport". Please don't expect picture of it, because we can not take picture this area.
