Greetings

The Japan-Turkey Culture Society is an NGO founded in 1987
to introduce Turkish culture to Japanese people.
We welcome your participation and support in our society.

Activities of The Japan-Turkey Culture Society

A. Information provided concerning Turkey

1. Open seminar called "TOPUKAPU SALON" (every two months) 
Open lectures by specialists or research workers about
Turkish culture, politics, nature, customs, life, economy, etc.
We also have a small reception after each lecture.

2. News letter " KOPRU TSUUSHIN" (seasonal)
Informational letter about our society.
This includes reports of TOPUKAPU SARON, letters from member, and news from Turkey.

3. Mini library 
There is one of Japan's biggest library of Turkey related books in our office.
We have more than 800 books, videos, and music cassettes for the use of members and researchers.  (Most materials are written in Japanese.  Others are in Turkish.)

4. Cooking school of Turkish foods ( 1 - 2 times per year)

5. General meetings (annual)
We have guests from the Turkish embassy who give speeches and attend the following reception.

B. Turkish Language Classes

We have six regular classes including classes for beginners, intermediate, and advanced leveled students as well as a class for Turkish conversation.  Summer classes are also available.  These are one of the best Turkish language classes available for the average person wanting to learn this interesting language.

C. Support and promotion of communication programs between Japan and Turkey
